The Director of Sports Marketing drives the development and leads the execution of the regional Sports Marketing initiatives. You will build local and regional brand affinity through events and athletes while paying into RedBull's relevant global and national strategies. You will manage a team of SSMM who, in turn, manage Athlete Marketing through AMM, Event Marketing through EMM, Gaming through GMM, and all related activity throughout the expansive geography of the region. You will continuously drive clear alignment between SaMo and all their regional Sports Marketing team to ensure our strategies, tactics, and events are the most innovative, on-brand, and impactful within the world of RedBull.

Establish a rich network in regional sports scenes to maintain awareness of latest sports trends and scenes.
Identify locally relevant athletes' stories and help create opportunities to amplify their reach within the region and nationally.
With Athlete Marketing Managers, the National Athlete Marketing team, and the Gaming Managers and National Gaming Player team identify, develop and build relationships with local athlete talent.
Responsible for creation and delivery of the annual Region Sports Marketing Business Plan.
Lead the project management and execution of local RedBull Sports Marketing events.
Use knowledge of local sports scenes and sports landscape to inform development of new event concepts.
Oversee regional Sports Marketing resources to maximize the impact of local events.
Support Athlete, Gaming and Event Marketing Managers with accomplishing athlete projects and sport events.
Manage the Gaming Manager in alignment with National Gaming team colleagues to identify opportunities in the region to reach the gaming consumer and bring the brand to life through gaming events, players, and the community to reach new consumers across the wide work of gaming.
Build a network in the gaming communities to build relevance and frequency of touchpoints with the gamer following national strategies.
Lead and partner with Sales, Event Logistics, and Event, Gaming, and Athlete Marketing Managers to ensure quality planning all Sports Marketing activities in the region.
Identify relevant branded and non-branded sports content and stories for our owned and shared media channels.
Find and hire the right people to lead regional Sports Marketing projects.
Manage direct reports towards annual regional goals.
Promote a culture by focusing on individual, strengths-based development.
Identify and train employees for succession opportunities.
Provide direct and productive feedback to help maintain quality performance.
Create a culture that rewards effort and execution following RedBull's values.
