GH Retail - Shop Technician

Shop Lead - Los Angeles (21.00/hour) Â

Pay Rate: 21-22/hour   **This position is on-site at our new retail store in Los Angeles, set to open April 2023.   At Backcountry, our Shop Lead will oversee the development and management of our retail service shop based out of our new Retail Store in Los Angeles. This individual must have expert level knowledge around bike, ski, and snowboard shop services. Duties will include but are not limited to interviewing and developing shop team managers and technicians across our ever-growing fleet of stores, planning shop layouts and ordering tools, components and supplies for new store openings, regular travel to stores, and innovate relentlessly with cross-functional business partners to provide best in class services for our customers.   Requirements:Â

• Communication skills overseeing multiple services shopsÂ

• Problem Solving skills to meet the ever-changing needs of operating multiple services shopsÂ

• Ski/Snowboard Services background knowledge to develop teams to perform basic and advanced tunes, bindings, and boot fittingsÂ

• Bike Shop Services background knowledge to order parts, components, and complete full bike buildsÂ

• P&L Management ability across a dynamic range of shop services and locationsÂ

• Ability to Staff, Develop, and Lead a team of shop managers and techs across our growing retail store fleetÂ

• Drive Positive Business KPIs and grow shop services revenue Â
