MORNING WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE / MERCHANDISE PROCESSOR

SHIFT:  Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm

PAY:Â Â Â Â $15.00/hr.

This is a seasonal positionWe only have fulltime shifts availableThis position is 100% in-person at our Virginia fulfillment center Â

Backcountry has an amazing seasonal opportunity for highly motivated individual to join our Warehouse team as a Merchandise Processor! If you are fast on your feet, and love handling all the cool gear we sell from the time it enters our doors to the time it leaves, this job could be for you…consider it more like pre shopping and less like work!   ABOUT THE JOB:Â

Lift up to 50 poundsÂ

Stand and walk for your entire shiftÂ

Read and Audit LabelsÂ

Identify, count, and sort packages and inventory with a high level of accuracyÂ

Understand and differentiate between shipping methods and sort packages accordinglyÂ

Use automated packaging equipmentÂ

Participate in team meetings, follow guidance, and provide feedback as appropriateÂ

Maintain a clean workspaceÂ

Perform other duties as assignedÂ

Participate in LEAN initiativesÂ

ABOUT YOU:Â

Verbal and Written comprehension of the English LanguageÂ

Basic Math SkillsÂ

Computer Skills including familiarity with the internet and e-mail; ability to work with handheld computer deviceÂ

High School EquivalencyÂ

Experience operating power industrial equipment (for example, standing order picker or forklift)Â
