Department : Visual Merchandising Reports to : Director, North America Visual Merchandising Location: North Vancouver, BC Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX: As the Visual Merchandising Manager- New Store Openings and Visual Space Planning, you are responsible for leading the strategy for product space planning, including the development and execution of in-store layout design and how the visual merchandising standards show up for new and existing retail locations. In this role, you will own the end to end visual merchandising process for new store openings, optimizations and relocations from concept development and fixture planning to collaborating with the Regional Visual Merchandising team for the on-site execution. You ensure every store reflects our unique brand identity, is set-up to drive commercial performance, and has an elevated premium guest experience. Meet The Future Team: The North America Visual Merchandising team is accountable for driving regional consistency of Visual Merchandising within all retail stores, curating the guest journey to visually bring the design, merchandising and brand visions to life in an authentic and premium way. The team creates, delivers and trains on evergreen brand standards and seasonal directives informed by collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Your opportunity at ARC’TERYX: As the Vice President, Store Development, you will be responsible for the development of all Arc’teryx North America stores within the markets of Canada and the United States. You will oversee all aspects of store development for our NAM retail locations including but not limited to store design, construction, lease administration and acquisition/assessment. You will ensure that expectations are set to ensure quality, timelines and budget, and analyze new lease commitments to confirm accuracy and competitiveness. You are accountable for expansion plans into strategic locations, current location optimization and relocations, ensuring the success of new locations and ongoing success in each region as we grow. Location scouting, real estate, lease agreement and new store opening functions will require hands on leadership as we navigate new communities within North America. Meet your future team: The Store Development Team collaborates with key stakeholders and strategic partners in the development of new NAM retail stores by identifying future locations, assessing the viability, developing business cases/executive summaries for proposed locations, and working with regional teams to develop a three-year market plan. You will report to the General Manager, North America and will lead a team of real estate, construction and store design team members. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with partners in retail, finance, brand and legal.

As the Vice President of Product Creation Development, you will shape lead the global strategy and execution of Arc’teryx’s Product Creation Development function across apparel, hardgoods/accessories, and footwear. You will lead the teams responsible for driving the end-to-end development process from concept validation, through commercialization – ensuring consistent level of quality, fit, and performance of our mainline product and innovations. You will guide your team through a transformational journey, evolving our development strategy and capabilities to enable Arc’teryx’s 2028+ organizational vision across apparel, hardgoods/accessories and footwear. Success in this role will require deep collaboration, where you will work closely with cross-functional leaders to advance our shared vision, while also embracing and navigating healthy tension, balancing creative innovation, technical feasibility, and operational excellence. With a deep commitment to circularity, you will partner with Sustainability leadership and will personally champion the product development shifts required to meet our organizational sustainability commitments and our purpose of leaving it better. This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
