Skullcandy is seeking a skilled and innovative Firmware Engineer to join our fast-paced Product Development engineering team. In this role, you will lead product firmware creation for Skullcandy products, primarily headphones and earphones.Responsibilities & Duties; • managing the design, development, testing, debugging and ongoing support of embedded firmware for Skullcandy products and technologies by planning, improving and managing firmware from inception to production through end of life. • Understanding of common communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, USB, UART, and others • Create detailed development plans to ensure firmware is delivered on time and on quality • Create the necessary technical documentation for firmware design, implementation and operation. • Debug, troubleshoot system level problems and maintain existing software/firmware • Develop or oversee the development of firmware in C, assembly and other programming languages as needed • Integrate 3rd party firmware libraries as needed • Define and ensure implementation of new control, user interface, and other algorithms as needed • Implement firmware on contemporary product hardware platforms and SoC's • Work with the electrical engineering team to develop and support circuit design • Develop or oversee the development of BSP (board support packages) as needed for new hardware and assist in new hardware bring up and debug • Test and validate firmware on evaluation, prototype and production hardware platforms, ensure the device firmware works as expected with Skullcandy mobile apps for Android and iOS  • Participate in internal research and development of new technologies and products • Work with standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, etc. • Design and develop communication protocols, standard or proprietary for device communications via wireless and wired technologies • Work closely with extended team members in creating custom solutions and developing new and innovative hardware designs • Gather supporting data to raise corrective actions with suppliers, factories and partners, drive open issues to resolution To be successful in this job, you will need to possess the below competencies, skills and education.  • Education: BS Computer Engineering (or Computer Science or Electrical Engineering) with 2+ years FW development experience or equivalent. You know what we mean. • Problem Solving: ability to see the big picture and act on it to ensure resolution • Skills: • Coordinating with all functions related to development and validation of product firmware • Experience with: • Proficiency with ISR's (Interrupt service routines), concurrent execution, RTOS and multitasking in embedded environments • Computing Languages: Proficient in C and assembly on various processor platforms, Python and other scripting languages a plus • WiFi and Bluetooth Development • Developing and debugging embedded firmware on custom hardware platforms • Ensure FW support is created for testing and validating new PCBA support packages and basic device interfaces e.g., IIC, SPI, PIO, button debouncing and interfacing • Integrating 3rd party firmware libraries is a plus • Test Driven Development is a plus

The Program Manager in Consumer Electronics is responsible for managing and driving the successful delivery of consumer electronics projects from conception through launch. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, ensuring product quality, and aligning project goals with the company's strategic objectives.   Key Responsibilities   Project Planning and Management • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. • Define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders. • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. • Manage licensed property product portfolio (including Collaborations, SMU, and LTO projects), and determine timing and implementation of products associated with License. Create brand presentations for internal and external partners. • Contract Management and Negotiation - Collaborate with other departments such as Legal and Sales to ensure that all licensing agreements and marketing strategies are aligned. • Serve as the main point of contact with outside agencies to ensure we stay aligned to the strategic plan. Serve as project manager to bring together feedback, approvals and meetings with key in house team members. • Communicate with internal cross-functional partners to keep all stakeholders up-to-date with ranging developments. Partner closely with Creative, Marketing, Sales, and Direct to Consumer teams. • Support in-house licensor programs, liaising with external partners and in-house teams. • Collaborate with Marketing teams to ensure effective planning and fulfillment of partnership obligations, including marketing & communications programs and event activations, as negotiated. • Analyze data and track key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of our licensing strategy. Budget and Resource Management • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints. • Allocate resources effectively, balancing project needs with available resources and capabilities. • Track and report on project expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Continuous Improvement • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness. • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement. • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and apply them to future projects   Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Master's degree and/or PMP certification is a plus. • 4+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in the consumer electronics industry. • Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and manufacturing processes in consumer electronics. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget. • Understanding and experience in contract management and contract negotiations.  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., monday.com, MS Project, JIRA, Trello). • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and regulatory requirements in consumer electronics.

As a Skullcandy Product Quality Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes for multiple new products launching in a season. This role involves developing and implementing quality plans, conducting tests reliability modeling, and managing all sustaining quality assurance activities throughout the lifecycle of the product. As a member of the Product Development team, the engineer will work closely with engineering, program managers, product managers, industrial designer, sourcing, and overseas contract manufacturers to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer electronics, experience managing quality processes across international supply chains, and a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.Key Responsibilities: • Quality Assurance Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance plans for consumer electronics products, including detailed testing protocols, inspection criteria, and judgement standards. Ensure that quality plans are effectively executed and are aligned with product specifications and industry requirements. Work closely with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle. • Product Testing: Design and execute test plans that cover various aspects of product performance, reliability, and durability for both hardware and firmware requirements. Perform functional and non-functional testing to ensure products meet or exceed specifications and consumer expectations. Utilize advanced testing methodologies and tools to evaluate product quality. Review, manage, and approve supplier testing efforts. • Reliability Modeling: Develop and apply reliability techniques to reduce premature field failures under various conditions. Conduct accelerated life testing and statistical analysis to estimate failure rates, categorize risks, and identify potential areas for improvement. • Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify and analyze quality issues or defects in products, utilizing root cause analysis techniques to determine the underlying causes. Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions. • Sustaining Engineering: Monitor product quality in the marketplace and drive necessary improvement plans with Engineering and contract manufacturers. Manages the KPI reporting and support of Skullcandy's CAPA system and escalated MRB dispositions; directs China QE's and contract manufacturers in action plans to reduce product defects. • Supplier and Contract Manufacturer Management: Collaborate with overseas contract manufacturers to ensure that their reliability test lab, production processes and quality control measures align with company standards. Conduct supplier audits, address quality issues, and manage the integration of quality requirements into the manufacturing process • Project Management: Oversee quality assurance activities across multiple overlapping projects, ensuring timely execution of quality plans and adherence to project timelines. Coordinate resources and manage priorities to address quality concerns effectively within each project. • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of quality testing results, reliability outcomes, issue reports, and resolution actions. Prepare and present quality performance reports to management and other stakeholders, providing insights into the status and challenges of multiple projects. • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance quality processes and procedures. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve product quality and reliability across projects. • Compliance: Ensure that products comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in quality standards.Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is a plus. • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on consumer electronics. Proven track record of managing quality processes and resolving complex quality issues, including experience working with overseas contract manufacturers and managing multiple projects simultaneously. • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electronics design, testing methodologies, reliability modeling, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in using quality testing tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst you will be responsible for managing the full accounts receivable cycle, including payment collection, invoice reconciliation, credit risk assessment, and cash application. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams to resolve billing discrepancies, manage chargebacks, and support customer account maintenance. Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to navigate vendor portals and ERP systems are key to success in the position. RESPONSIBILITIES:  • Work directly with global retailers to facilitate the collection of payments and management of invoices. • Management and Review of credit for new and existing customer accounts. • Responsible for reconciling invoicing and payment discrepancies.  • Lead the chargeback dispute and post-audit dispute processes with members of Supply Chain and Sales Ops • Work with members of the Sales Team to establish/reevaluate credit terms, payment terms and other account issues. • Work with members of the Supply Chain Team to address and resolve issues including but not limited to short shipments, defective products, returns.  • Management and tracking of customer accrual programs. • Navigate vendor portals to research invoices, credits and chargebacks. • Assisting other accounting personnel with adhoc department needs. • Other duties as required.REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent degree • Knowledge in Excel, experience in SAP or other ERP a plus • Ability to adapt, multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced work environment • Prior Account Management or A/R experience  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
